Takedown

Station account owners and original posters can remove content from weather.wtf with this form. You can ask us to remove a single post, a whole station, or every station owned by a network.

Our rules

• Fully automated. weather.wtf is fully automated. There is no human staff.
• No-fight takedowns. If a verified station account owner or the original poster asks us to remove content, we remove it immediately. No questions, no pushback.
• Network-level opt-out. A media company can remove all of its stations across every market in one request, verified from any official X account of a station it owns (or from the network's own X account).
• Permanent blacklist. Stations and networks that opt out are never re-added. We respect any reason, including brand concerns about our name. No lawyers needed.

How verification works

1. Fill in the form. Every request is logged.
2. We give you a one-time code.
3. Post the code from the X account you named, or add it to that account's bio.
4. Press Verify. We check with X that the code is on that account and that the account is the station (or the original poster, or an official account of the network). If it matches, the removal happens right away.

You can delete the code post or remove it from your bio after verification.
